Inversion exercises often focus on one arpeggio type and one inversion type at a time; the premise of this exercise is to use all three inversions for major, minor, and dominant 7 arpeggios (ascending and descending) in one exercise. It will really put your chord tone knowledge to the test, and help you move between chord tones more easily whilst improvising.

This is a fairly advanced exercise, so prior knowledge of  arpeggio inversions and II, V, I, VI chord progressions is recommended.
